Blizzid is the matriarch of all of the Treble Cone dogs and takes every opportunity to remind them of the fact too! She started search training at TC in 2001 and got her operational ticket the following year. Since then she has been deployed nine times at Treble Cone and been put on standby to go to Mt Cook twice, Coronet Peak and more recently Christchurch. In all of her searches she was able to confirm that there was no one to find… very clever. Blizzid will retire at the end of this operational year (September) but will continue to play a key role in our educational program.Close
Milly is a strong and determined hound with unstoppable drive, able to clear sites in lightning fast times. Millie has been a real asset to the team in her six years as an operational search dog. She has been deployed on six occasions and in all situations was able to determine that there was no one to find… a real asset indeed! Millie has a unique personality, she loves people almost as much as she loves search and is often seen outside the Patrol hut at Treble Cone in her Doggles lapping up the attention. Close
Zepp’s a big dog, with big enthusiasm and no shortage of zeal. He likes nothing better than a fast run and to play heaps of games… apart from maybe a good steak! Able to cover large areas in no time at all Zep has huge potential as he begins his search dog career.Close
Rocket has taken to his training like a duck does to water. Being very keen to learn he is picking up new things very quickly and is showing all the right traits… he loves to play and to chase things! He is also proving to be a real charmer when out in town… in fact I’m thinking about renting him out to my single friends! Close
